We had a party. . .

To celebrate my Quarter Centennial. . we had a party!  Or partay, if you'd rather.  One long table with 40 sit down dinner guests.  It was the perfect time to shine up the silver, press the linens, and pull out the china. . . yes, between my mother and I we had 40 place settings. . . only in the South, right?  Our concept: a family style Italian potluck.  Guests brought their favorite entrees from local Italian restaurants so well all could test favorites.  It couldn't have been tastier or less stress.  Pasta, Pizza, Shrimp Chicken, Artichoke- whosa-choke?!  Mmmm-mmmm.  Instead of gifts guests brought wine and champagne selections for toasts to everything from Best Wishes to Football prayers.  Mustaches were welcomed.

The beautiful chandy hanging you wonder? . . . I must admit was my handywork and is now on display/forsale in the store.  It IS huge.  Luckily, an event next door boosted our late night festivities to join the band in a Birthday song and in "Calling those Hogs".  Nothing better than 500 extra guests to ring in your birthday. . . as long as you don't have to clean up after them!

Having the only private patio downtown has surely paid off!

A special thanks to all who attended and celebrated and especially the Hubs, Emily and Heather my private photogs and Jen for all the help.
